What is Kidzone?

KidZone is a welcoming Sunday community for children from babies through 5th grade. We meet at The King's Academy every Sunday at 10:30 AM, with check-in opening at 10:00 AM.


Through hands-on Bible activities, small groups, and special events, kids have fun while building relationships with God, their leaders, and one another.


Children of all abilities are welcome just as they are. Our caring staff and volunteers are background-checked, trained, and ready to help every child feel safe, known, and loved.

We aim to be a fun, safe community for all kids to experience a transforming relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

early childhood

years 0 to 5

Through worship, powerplay (Bible lesson), memorizing scripture and prayer, early childhood kids are rooted in these truth's about God:

  • God made them
  • God loves them
  • Jesus wants to be their forever friend

elementary

kindergarten to 5th grade

Through play, Bible study, small group discussion, memorizing scripture and prayer, elementary kids will learn and grow to experience:

  • Building relationships with Jesus and friends
  • Trusting in the Lord
  • Following Jesus as His disciples

Special needs

One of our core commitments is caring for and supporting families of children with special needs. Through our Gem Buddy Ministry, trained leaders provide one-on-one care within our regular KidZone classes so every child can feel safe, known, and included.


We also provide a separate sensory room to provide space to re-center and regulate when needed.


We welcome all families and are honored to serve them on Sundays and beyond. If you would like to know more about our Gem Buddy Ministry, contact our Children's Ministry Director Hideyo.
